At the MACC, our Art & Creative programs inspire imagination for all ages. From visual arts and pottery to hands-on workshops and gallery exhibits, students explore their creativity, build skills, and express themselves in a supportive, fun environment.

Hannah Walton
Beginner and Advanced Pottery
Hannah Walton is an interdisciplinary artist and ceramics instructor who brings creativity and curiosity to every class. A recent graduate of Vanderbilt University with a Bachelor’s in Studio Art and Psychology and currently an MFA candidate at Maryland Institute College of Art, she works in a wide range of media including ceramics, sculpture, mixed media, photography, and video. Hannah believes art is for everyone and is passionate about guiding students of all experience levels in hands-on artmaking that builds confidence, skill, and creative expression.

Sara Coolidge
Art Classes
Sara Coolidge is a multidisciplinary artist, educator, and lifelong creative based in Signal Mountain, TN. With a degree in Early Childhood Education and experience in pottery, mixed media, quilting, creative writing, and more, she brings a broad range of artistic skills and enthusiasm to her teaching. Sara co-teaches visual art classes at the Mountain Arts Community Center, encouraging students of all ages to explore their creativity and express themselves through hands-on artmaking.
