Join us at the MACC for Storytime, a fun morning of reading, creativity, and connection for our littlest visitors! This week, we’ll read The Leaf Thief and follow the story with a simple craft.

Storytime is designed for children ages 4 and under, with a participating parent or guardian. Come read, create, and make some memories with us!

The Gallery at the MACC is pleased to welcome local artist Ronny “Ron” Jewell. A lifelong arts professional, Ron’s career has included leadership roles with the Memphis Symphony Orchestra, Bartlett Performing Arts and Conference Center, and the Orpheum Theatre Group’s Halloran Centre. After decades of work in the performing arts and cultural arts consulting, Ron retired in 2025 and now shares his creativity through his artwork. Stop by the MACC during regular hours, Monday–Friday, 9 AM–8 PM, to enjoy his work.

Come create your own decorative fall basket in this two hour evening class using locally harvested and invasive kudzu. All baskets turn out to have a unique shape. We will make a small, fall themed basket using a twining technique.

Ages 12 and up (children must be accompanied by an adult.) Cost: $45 | Materials: $15
