
Summer Camp at the MACC
Summer camps are returning to the MACC, bringing fun, creativity, and discovery for kids in our community. We are looking forward to a season filled with engaging activities and memorable experiences. Check frequently for new additions.

Nature Explorers Camp Session 1
June 8th-June12th
9am to 12pm

Get outside and play! This Nature Explorer Camp will focus on plants, animals, and weather in our local ecosystem and how they are connected. We will create fun projects using both natural and recycled materials. Campers will take nature hikes, go bird watching, and identify birds, trees, and wildlife in our area. We'll use scavenger hunts, storytelling, and STEAM lessons learn about caring for our environment and to spark curiosity for the natural world.
We will be outside everyday, even in rain-so pack rain boots and a raincoat (we will move indoors in severe weather). Please apply sunscreen and insect repellent each morning! Allergy friendly snacks and a water bottle should be sent each day with your camper.

Magic Minecraft

Come join us for some fun in Minecraft, an immersive game-based learning platform that promotes creativity, collaboration, and problem-solving in an immersive environment where the only limit is your imagination. Campers will complete challenges to boost their Minecraft skills before using those skills and working together in multiplayer worlds. From themed resorts to the rides of Magic Kingdom, join us as we recreate the magic of Disney World in Minecraft.

Minecraft Imagineering Camp
June 29th- July 3rd

Join us for this brand new full day camp using Minecraft Education as we explore and create in a creative, engaging and immersive environment. Campers will start by completing a series of challenges to develop and sharpen Minecraft skills. They will then use those skills as they work together in large multiplayer worlds to recreate Disney's Epcot Theme Park, complete with a test track, a ride soarin' around the world, the countries of the World Showcase, and more!
Campers will also unleash their problem solving skills and imagination in ready-made immersive Minecraft worlds designed to support learning through esports build battles. With varied settings from pirate ships to the Wild West to a magical garden, the esports build battle worlds promote organized and collaborative play as campers compete against the clock and build epic creations.

Summer Drummer Days 2026
• Percussion Camps include exploring snare drum, drum set, keyboard percussion, auxiliary percussion, hand drums, and sound effects. Students will develop technique, grip, performance skills, and proper stick and mallet selection for each instrument.
• Great Start Elementary Camps include learning to count, read, and play fundamental rhythms. Students will apply this new skill to explore playing; hand drums, buckets, snare, keyboard percussion, auxiliary percussion, and sound effects instruments.
• Drum Set Camps include learning various drum set styles, grooves, fills, songs, and learning how to improvise.
• Percussion Ensembles are by audition or recommendation. Each percussion ensemble will learn and rehearse new music for a concert the last 20 minutes of camp on Friday.

Studying Under the Masters, Art with Sara

In Sara’s Summer Art Classes: Studying Under the Masters, young artists will explore famous artists and their techniques while creating their own inspired works! The first session runs June 22–26 for K5–Rising 2nd graders, followed by a second session July 27–31 for 3rd–Rising 5th graders. Both classes meet Monday–Friday from 10:00am–12:00pm and offer a fun, engaging introduction to art history and creativity. Cost is $115 per student, plus a $15 art supply fee—perfect for budding artists ready to learn from the greats!

Minecraft: Adventures in AI and Kodu Game Lab

Join us for this camp that has children programming to solve AI challenges and creating their own video games.
Adventures in AI brings the promise of AI literacy to life in the Minecraft universe! Campers will explore artificial intelligence concepts, model their learning, and have a blast while developing critical thinking and coding skills. Through a series of interactive challenges, they will take on the role of problem-solver gaining practical understanding of AI foundations, machine learning, and data analytics.
Campers will also design and program their own unique video games using Kodu Game Lab. Kodu is a visual programming tool that uses logic and problem solving while introducing children to conditions and sequence as they learn to add objects, add scoring elements, create paths, and add multiple characters.

Crescendo Music Camp

Crescendo Music Camp offers a joyful, confidence-building introduction to music in a small, supportive environment led by a professional performer and educator.
This week-long camp focuses on creativity and foundational musical skills through singing, movement, rhythm, and hands-on instrument exploration. Each session is intentionally small (maximum 6 students) to allow for individualized attention.

Robotics Camp

RoboThink’s Robotics Camp is a high-energy, hands-on experience where campers ages 7–12 build and battle robots while learning the fundamentals of engineering, coding, and STEM. Each day, campers create two different robots using gears, motors, axles, and sensors, then refine their designs with guidance from instructors before testing them in exciting challenges. Along the way, they explore key concepts like gear ratios and energy in a fun, engaging environment. The camp runs Monday–Thursday (June 29, 30, July 1–2; no camp July 3) from 9:00 AM–12:00 PM, with enrollment limited to 6–20 campers. Tuition is $240 for the 4-day camp.

Get creative this summer with our hands-on Clay Camps, designed for both elementary students and middle/high school artists! Each week, participants will explore the art of ceramics while creating unique pieces. Week 1 (May 26–29) features 4-day camps at $240, with elementary sessions from 9:00am–12:00pm (12 spots available) and MS/HS sessions from 1:00pm–4:00pm (8 spots available). Weeks 2 (June 1–5), 3 (July 27–31), and 4 (August 3–7) offer 5-day camps at $300, following the same daily schedule and capacity. With small class sizes and plenty of hands-on instruction, these camps fill quickly—don’t miss your chance to get muddy and make something amazing!
