Class Descriptions
Creative Movement
Introductory dance class focuses on a structured learning environment for ages 3-4. Basic concepts of stretching, coordination, locomotor skills, and ballet are the foundation upon which the class is based. Placement is by age of the child by October 1st of the current year.
Junior I Intermediate Ballet
Intermediate Junior Class for 7-9 years of age, at least 1-2 years of ballet training is required for this class. Students will continue progressive technique exercises, based on previous years classical ballet foundation. Classes will include terminology, ballet barre, conditioning, stretching, and center work that includes across the floor exercise with emphasis on correct body alignment, technique, and execution. For this Intermediate level, students will be challenged and tested in their technique, memorization, and terminology, as the semester and year progresses.
Junior II A Ballet
Beginner and Intermediate level, at least 1–2 years of ballet suggested. For students 10 years and up who are interested in ballet. Students will learn and build upon their ballet barre, conditioning stretching, and center work that includes across the floor exercise with emphasis on correct body alignment, technique, and execution. In addition, dancers will also learn ballet terminology. At this level, students will be challenged and tested in their technique, memorization, and terminology, as the semester and year
progresses.
Junior II Pre-Pointe Conditioning and Technique
This class is recommended for dedicated junior students continuing toward pre-pointe and pointe training. A minimum of 2–3 years of ballet experience is required. Students will focus on pre-pointe conditioning to build strength, flexibility, stability, and foot articulation, along with ballet barre, center work, and across-the-floor exercises. Emphasis is placed on proper technique, alignment, ballet terminology, and continued technical progression throughout the year.
Pre-Ballet & Primary Ballet
This ballet class utilizes the basic concepts of ballet to broaden the child’s understanding of time and space, while continuing to build upon the foundations of classical training, for ages 5-6. Students will continue gaining strength in locomotor skills, and learn the difference between right and left movements. Musicality, joy of moving their bodies, and learning to create lines and stories or emotions will also begin. In this class students begin focusing on a more structured Ballet Class, made up of three sections: Ballet technique, conditioning & stretching, and center; across the floor work.
Junior I Ballet
Junior Class with no previous dance training required, for 7-9 years who are interested in ballet. Students will learn basic ballet barre, conditioning & stretching, and center work that includes across the floor exercise with emphasis on correct body alignment, technique, and execution. In addition, dancers will also learn ballet terminology and we begin to learn ballet combinations and how steps can be put together to make those sequences.
Junior II B Ballet

Explore with Me
In this class Parents, Grandparents, or Guardians explore movement with their toddler, for ages 1.5-2. All while stretching, bouncing, and dancing to age-appropriate music that will entice even the youngest child. This introductory dance class focuses on a structured learning environment for ages 3-4. Basic concepts of stretching, coordination, locomotor skills, and ballet are the foundation upon which the class is based. Placement is by age of the child by October 1st of the current year.

Registration and Fees
A registration fee is required per individual student, or per family when more than one child is enrolled. Class fees vary by program and level. Students will participate in two performances each year, with one performance held per semester. For current fees, registration details, or additional information, please contact us.
