Fit For Life - Low Impact and Balance



Liz Moore

Liz Moore is a licensed physical therapist with over 20 years of
experience who lives on Signal Mountain with her husband and two
children. She has worked in a variety of settings including orthopedic sports medicine, neuro rehab, general geriatric rehab, home health, and nursing homes. She was also a Division 1 soccer athlete in college and became interested in physical therapy while going through rehab for her own personal injuries. She has a passion for helping people stay active and overcome their limitations to reach their personal goals. She is currently the assistant coach for GPS soccer and is a certified Sportsmetrics trainer. She works with athletes in sport specific training, injury prevention training, sports performance and has developed a bridge program to help athletes
transition from being released from the doctor to confidently returning to their sport. She has been active in her community with
fall prevention classes for older adults and has exercise classes as
well as one on one training to help adults maintain or return to an
independent lifestyle.

Fit For Life 

Low Impact Strength and Balance

Monday, Wednesday, Friday  from 10:00am to 11:00am

$6 per class

This class is for anyone wanting to improve their overall fitness to gain more energy and strength for everyday life. The focus will be on balance, strength, and flexibility with most activities performed in standing with support available such as a chair for more challenging balance activities. Modifications are given throughout the class so all levels are welcome.


Renew  is a 45 minute class with all seated exercises to improve motion,  strength, flexibility and posture. Perfect for those not able to tolerate a lot of standing exercises but want to work on keeping their bodies moving and strong. If you are trying to get back to more activity, this is a great place to start. 

Fee: $5/class

Time and Location: Meets Monday and Wednesday,  from 11:15-12:00 in the cafeteria. Parking available in the back for easy access.


Discover how to recruit your core muscles through a variety of

exercises so you can use them throughout each day to support

your body and reduce strain on your back. This class will also

work on flexibility to provide increased motion to go along with the

strength you gain.

Taught by Liz Moore physical therapist

Mondays and Wednesdays at 9:00-9:45 am in the cafeteria

Bring a mat and towel.

All exercises are performed on the floor
