Go play outside!
with Carmen Vanderhoof and Rebecca Brewer

This nature camp will focus on plants and animals in our ecosystem and how they are connected. We will create fun projects using both natural and recycled materials. Campers will take nature hikes, go bird watching, and learn tree identification. We'll use scavenger hunts, storytelling, and STEAM lessons like making mini vermicomposters to spark curiosity for the natural world.

We will be outside everyday, even in rain-so pack rain boots and a raincoat (we will move indoors in severe weather). Please apply sunscreen and insect repellent each morning! Allergy friendly snacks and a water bottle should be sent each day with your camper.

Carmen Vanderhoof and Rebecca Brewer are teachers at Wauhatchie Forest School. They have first hand, daily experience connecting kids with the wonders and benefits of nature. Both teachers are CPR and Wilderness First Aid certified.
