Margaret Cooke teaches all levels of piano and violin/fiddle. She is a native of Signal Mountain, and she grew up taking piano and violin lessons at Cadek Conservatory and playing in the Youth Orchestra. She has a BA in English and Music from the University of the South, an MA in English Lit from UVA, and recently completed her MM in Piano Performance at UTC under the mentorship of the late Dr. Sin-Hsing Tsai. She was a winner of the 2014 UTC Concerto Competition, where she performed the second movement of Rachmaninoff’s Piano Concerto No. 2. She also was principle second violin in the UTC Orchestra and won the Music Department’s Graduate Award in 2014.
