Let your dancer be immersed in a week full of dance!
Students will start the day with conditioning, ballet technique, and will alternate each day with jazz & contemporary, a blend of ballet and modern. We will study a new aspect of dance history every day, focusing this summer on the origins & purposes of movement, rhythm, & music!
Included in the daily study are; methods, styles & techniques of dance, through the ages, with the Thursday of each week focusing on the purpose of the Theater. Including Staging, Costuming, and Make-up, with a Theater Make-up lesson included.
All Students will be a part of the choreography process, which they will present in their showcase at the end of day Friday.

Come create it in Minecraft with us using Minecraft Education Edition, an immersive game-based learning platform where children will bring the real world into the digital one building with blocks in Minecraft. Campers will start by completing mini-challenges to develop and sharpen Minecraft skills. They will then use those skills to design from land to sea to sky as they work collaboratively in large multi-player worlds to build and design city blocks, sailing ships, and a space station!

Introduction to digital photography (DSLR cameras) and editing. ALL CAMERAS AND EQUIPMENT PROVIDED! Campers will spend the first part of the week in the studio learning all about exposure and camera basics, rules of composition, motion, lighting, focus, and perspective. Campers will also learn how to import and edit their photos to enhance them to the exact look they envisioned. Campers will then work on specific projects, both individually and in groups. We will also talk about how to apply these principles to iPhone/SmartPhone photography, and discuss how DSLR and smartphones have their own benefits and drawbacks. The highlight of our week is the last hour of camp where the campers host an open gallery where their best images are on display. Family and friends are invited to attend the open gallery event and celebrate the incredible achievements of each camper. Mon- Fri 1pm-4pm for $240/week. All cameras and editing equipment will be provided. No experience necessary, but space is limited!

Campers will learn all about what goes into making a compelling video, then work in teams to produce a quality video project from a list of choices. Filmmakers are visual storytellers, but it usually takes an entire team to bring a story to life on the silver screen! In this camp we will learn how to use a digital video camera, using lighting, sound, and editing all as tools to tell a story. Campers will learn tricks of the trade, and what goes on behind the scenes: storyboarding, sequencing, continuity, composition, and the importance of quality lighting and audio. Each camper will take turns trying various roles, and see what they like best. By the end of the week, roll out that red carpet for the film premiere! Parents, friends, and family are welcome to watch as campers see their own hard work on the big screen! ALL CAMERAS AND EQUIPMENT PROVIDED! Mon- Fri 1pm-4pm for $240/week. Let’s get muddy! In this summer camp, campers will learn all about the basics of hand built
ceramics. After studying artist Wayne Thiebaud, campers will explore slab, pinch and coil
methods for construction to bring their own yummy imaginative designs to life. Campers will
cook up almost-good-enough-to-eat dessert creations through clay. Work will be fired and
glazed for pick up from the MACC a few weeks after camp ends.
“Mad Hatter’s Tea Party” : July 10-14

Let’s explore the fantastic world of make believe through pottery! Campers in this session will
read Alice in Wonderland, explore illustrative themes and talk about character representation
through imagery. Campers will design their own tea set using pinch, coil and slab methods of
construction. Work will be fired and glazed for pick up from the MACC a few weeks after camp ends.
“Under the Big Top!” : July 24-28

Let’s get muddy! In this high school aged camp, campers will have the opportunity to learn the basics of creating pottery using a potter’s wheel. Campers will learn about clay preparation, centering, pulling walls and clay reclaim and recycle processes. Campers will discuss color theory and glaze application techniques to be applied to vessels. Work will be fired and glazed for pick up from the MACC a few weeks after camp ends.

Paige Taylor - Nature Explorer Camp

Let’s get our hands dirty! This camp will focus on all things nature! Campers will learn about
plants and animals in our ecosystem and how they are connected! Your camper will use both
natural and recycled materials to create fun projects. From nature scavenger hunts to making
mini vermicomposters, this camp will spark curiosity for the natural world. We will be outside everyday, even in rain-so pack rain boots and a raincoat (we will move indoors in severe weather). Please apply sunscreen and insect repellent each morning! Allergy friendly snacks and a water bottle should be sent each day with your camper.

Liz Moore with StayInIt Physical Therapy, is a certified Sportsmetrics trainer, former Div. 1 athlete and licensed physical therapist with 20 years of experience. She has coached youth sports implementing injury prevention programs to correct body mechanics that can lead to injury while improving strength, stability, and agility for maximal performance.

Athletic Foundations Camp - Focuses on the basics of body control,
speed, coordination, strength and stability through fun games and
competitions along with daily talks on nutrition, stretching and the
mental and emotional aspects of competing. All levels and abilities
are welcome and space is limited to keep the instructor/athlete ratio
low.
Sports Performance Camp - Combining the basic principles of the
Sportsmetrics Program with speed, agility, strength and flexibility
training to improve the overall performance of the athlete and reduce
the risk of injury. Athletes will perform progressive plyometric
exercises along with cutting and changing direction with emphasis on
technique and form, decreasing injury risk and improving maximum
vertical jump height and speed. Register before March 17 and receive a
free injury screening video analysis of your athlete's jumping and
landing technique.
The camp fee must be paid in full and there are no refunds without a doctor's note.

Description: Campers will learn the styles of musical theater dance through jazz
dance and tap dance. Please wear comfortable clothes to dance in and bring
dance shoes (ballet or jazz). If you have tap shoes, bring them. If not, that’s ok.
Campers will take tap and jazz each day learning different exercises,
combinations and choreography to perform at the end of the week for family and
