Lauren Day - Summer Dance Camps
Young Children's Camps:
Join us as we explore different ballet variations and characters each day, learning through dancing, crafting, acting, and creating!

Youth and Junior Dance Intensive:
Let your dancer be immersed in a week of full dance and learning! Students will start the day with conditioning, ballet technique, and will alternate each day with jazz and contemporary, a blend of ballet and modern.
Each day we will study a new aspect of dance history, diving into where dance began, where it evolved, and where we are now. Dancers will learn a new variation each day, and will be a part of the choreography process. which they will present at the end of the day Friday.

Crissy Algea - Summer Dance Camp
ENCANTO DANCE CAMP (ALL CLASS ARE FULL - TAKING WAITLIST APPLICANTS)
June 27-30th

11:00 am - 2:00 pm, ages 6-8
Dance to your favorite Encanto songs and other popular dance songs from Miss Crissy's music collection! Learn the basics of classical ballet or build on the ballet skills already learned. Modern dance will also be incorporated for upbeat songs. There will also be games, Colombian-themed crafts, books, snacks, free play stations, outdoor fun, and more! Dress like Mirabel or another favorite Encanto character on the last day for an extra-special dance class, costume parade, and mini-performance for parents/caretakers at pick up! But Shhhhh! Please don't talk about Bruno!!!
Ages 4 & 5 Class Details: Cost is $85 + $50 registration/activity fee ($135 total). Bring a water bottle each day and Miss Crissy will provide all the snacks and treats!
Ages 6-8 Class Details: Cost is $200 + $50 registration/activity fee ($250 total). Bring a water bottle and a packed lunch each day and Miss Crissy will provide the snacks and treats!
Ballet clothes or play clothes are just fine. Please send her in ballet shoes and pack sneakers and we'll change shoes as needed throughout the day. Space is limited. Contact Crissy at

Tiffany Henry - Minecraft World Adventure Camp

Join us for some Minecraft fun using Minecraft Education Edition, an open-world game that promotes creativity, collaboration, and problem-solving in an immersive environment where the only limit is your imagination. In this camp, children will use their skills in building, creativity, and solving challenges. They will design spaceships that will launch them to Mars where they will build a sustainable colony with limited resources on real Martial terrain. They will also work collaboratively to build and design the world’s best Theme Park, complete with roller coasters, water slides, and haunted houses!

Let’s get muddy! In this camp, students will learn basic hand building clay techniques. We will explore coil, pinch pot and hand building methods as well as glaze application and surface design. Campers will leave with one completed, ceramic birdhouse to hang and enjoy at home! It is recommended for students to wear clothes that are okay to get dirty. Please send your camper with a bottle of water, a light snack and an old towel from home.
Pottery for Rising 2nd-5th grades - July Session
July 11-15 9:30-12:30
$200/maximum six students
Let’s get muddy! During this week, campers will focus primarily on hand-building clay techniques including coil, pinch pot and slab built vessels. Campers will learn about glaze mixing, color application and surface design using stenciling, stamping and found object textures. Each camper will also have the opportunity to use the potter’s wheel to create a thrown vessel. It is recommended for students to wear clothes that are okay to get dirty. Please send your camper with a bottle of water, a light snack and an old towel from home.

Holli Hutson - Musical Theater Dance, Theater Dance, and
Creative Writing
Musical Theater Dance Camp
Ages: 8 to 12
Dates: July 18th to 22nd
Time: 9 AM to 3 PM (Bring a snack, plenty of water and lunch)
Cost: $135
Come dance your heart out to your favorite musical theater tunes with Holli Hutson (Signal Mountain Playhouse performer) and Choo-Choo Kid Meredith Johnson (CCA). Campers will learn jazz dance, tap dance, swing dance and musical theater choreography. No experience necessary. Wear comfortable clothes and shoes. If you have ballet shoes, jazz shoes and/or tap shoes, please bring them to camp. See you in the dance studio this summer!

Time: 9 AM to 3 PM (Bring a snack, plenty of water and lunch)
Cost: $135

Holli Hutson - Creative Writing Camp

Come enjoy a week of creative writing activities with Holli Hutson (former Creative Writing teacher at CCA). Campers will explore writing through journal prompts, poetry and short stories. Campers will also have the opportunity to illustrate and share their creative writing during the week. Bring a snack and water. See you in the writing studio!

Amy Cloud - Composer Camp,
Pre-Piano, and Fun-Lympics
Composer Camp
“So, You Want To Be A Composer?” is a fun, creative four-day camp designed to inspire and equip students to compose their own pieces of music! Students will leave camp knowing how to make a piece of music reflect its title, use motives, organize a piece using a form, and much more. This camp is full of music listening, music making, and music composing.

Rising 1st-6th grade, maximum 8 campers

Pre-Piano Camp
Pre-Piano Camp is for young children who enjoy music but have not yet begun taking lessons. We will spend an hour each morning using songs and games to learn about basic rhythm, solfege, piano topography, dynamics, and more!

Fun-Lympics
Who’s excited about the Olympics?? Fun-lympics is an exciting summer camp that highlights all of the fun of Olympic events while teaching, reinforcing, and drilling music theory. It also emphasizes musicianship traits – Skill, Focus, Knowledge, Endurance & Creativity. Students participate in activities and games centered around 29 events in Track, Field, Swimming, Diving, Golf, Equestrian Eventing, Gymnastics, and Aquatics courses. Each of these events practices skills in Grand Staff note identification, Rhythm, Intervallic Reading, Music Terminology, Accidentals, Music Notation and Piano Topography. Students work in teams, practicing the events at the beginning of the week and on the last day invite family and friends to watch them compete! Previous music instruction is helpful but not required.

Liz Moore - Sports Performance Camp
Athletics Performance Camp
Liz Moore with StayInIt Physical Therapy, is a certified Sportsmetrics trainer, former Div. 1 athlete and licensed physical therapist with 20 years of experience. She has coached youth sports implementing injury prevention programs to correct body mechanics that can lead to injury while improving strength, stability, and agility for maximal performance.
Sports Performance Camp
Ages 12 and up
June 20-24: 5:00pm to 7:00pm and 7:00pm to 9:00pm
June 27-July 1: 5:00pm to 7:00pm and 7:00pm to 9:00pm
Combining the basic principles of the Sportsmetrics Program with speed and agility training to improve the overall performance of the athlete and reduce the risk of injury. Camp is for ages 12 and up and space is limited to keep instructor/athlete ratio low. Register before April 15 and receive a free injury screening video analysis.

Athletic Foundations Camp
Girls Age 9-11

Camp focuses on the basics of body control, speed, coordination, strength and stability through fun games and competitions along with daily talks on nutrition, stretching and the mental and emotional aspects of competing. All levels and abilities are welcome and space is limited to keep instructor/athlete ratio low.
